I had my breast implants removed by Ms Petrie. It was a very difficult decision and I Am an extremely nervous/anxious patient but I really felt in safe hands. Ms Petrie talked me through the procedure, all the pros and cons and the options. I felt completely at ease with my decision to trust Ms Petrie to make a call around capsule removal depending on what she found during surgery. The surgery went well, I have never had such a fantastic recovery from anaesthesia and I am as happy as one could be with my results. The only downside to the surgery was that I was waiting from 7.30am (having not eaten since the previous night, or having had a drink from the 5am) until after midday for surgery.

Miss Petrie gave me the best care I could have asked for and I couldn’t have wished for a better doctor. She made sure everything was exactly right before proceeding with the idea of surgery and took measures to make sure the risks of complications were very low. She was extremely reassuring, kind and genuine. I expected to be anxious and extremely nervous about my surgery but I was reassured by seeing her multiple times that I was in the best care. She was informative of how the procedure was going to be carried out and was very helpful when it came to answering any question. My surgery went incredibly smoothly with no scary complications an I’m lucky to say I had the easiest recovery ever. My scars are healing fantasticaly which I’m very happy with. I couldn’t be more greatful to have someone as kind and professional as Nicola who’s been able to improve my life in so many aspects and I’m a thousand times happier now.

I was first referred to Miss Petrie through the breast surgeon at my local hospital. I was in my early 30's and with a strong family history of breast cancer had made the decision to have a preventative bilateral mastectomy. From my first appointment with her, I felt comfortable, listened to and at ease. She took time to hear my thoughts and gave me lots of information and took many opportunities to discuss with me possible options. Most importantly I felt my opinion mattered and that she truly cared about my end result. Every part of my care with her and her team has been faultless and I cannot express my gratitude enough.

After years of dealing with the emotional and physical stress of having a very large chest after giving birth and breast feeding two children, I went to see Nicola Petrie about a possible breast reduction. From the minute I entered the consulting room, Ms Petrie put me at ease and I was able to openly express how I felt and why I was considering the surgery. Varying options were discussed/explained clearly to me and I was given valuable literature to read. I felt listened to as well as part of the decision making process in terms of my treatment. I was then encouraged to take a few days to think carefully about my decision before agreeing to proceed. In summary, my surgery was incredibly successful and the results have been life changing. The aftercare I have received from Ms Petrie has been exceptional and I am truly thankful to have been under the care of this highly skilled, dedicated and caring surgeon.
